Chapter 5: Inevitable

Alex’s hand stopped, held tight by the newly affixed shackle. Reflexively, she pulled her legs up to try and kick the imposing figure off of her, but they barely even moved before other bindings on her ankles pulled taut. Panic filled her as she writhed, trying to free herself. The Beast loomed over her, the firelight casting menacing shadows across his rugged, angular features. His eyes were dark pools of hunger, fixed intently on her. He murmured something in that unfamiliar language again, his voice a deep, rumbling growl that seemed to vibrate through the very air.

“Please…” Alex’s voice was a choked whisper, her throat still raw from her earlier screams. “Don’t…” Her plea was met with a low, rumbling laugh. The Beast’s hand moved to her face, fingers rough and calloused against her cheek. He traced a line down her jaw, over her throat, and to her collarbone, his touch surprisingly gentle. She shuddered, the contrast of his tenderness with the situation making her skin crawl.

His other hand moved to her side, gripping her hip firmly as he leaned closer. Alex’s breath came in rapid, shallow gasps, her heart pounding in her chest. She could feel the heat of his body against hers, the scent of sweat and whiskey mingling in the air. He whispered again, the words meaning nothing, his breath hot against her ear. Alex squeezed her eyes shut, trying to block out the sensation, but it was impossible. She was acutely aware of every touch, every movement.

His hands roamed over her body, exploring every curve and dip with a methodical precision. The rough pads of his fingers grazed over her skin, leaving trails of goosebumps in their wake. Alex’s muscles tensed, her body recoiling instinctively even as she knew there was no escape. The Beast’s hands moved to the shreds of her clothing, tugging and pulling until the fabric gave way. Alex bit her lip, stifling a cry as he bared her skin to the cold air. The firelight flickered across her body, casting a warm glow over her pale flesh.

He paused for a moment, his gaze raking over her. There was a primal, feral intensity in his eyes, a hunger that sent a chill down her spine. Alex could feel the weight of his stare, every inch of her exposed and vulnerable under his scrutiny. With a growl, he descended upon her, his hands gripping her wrists as he pressed his body against hers. Alex turned her head to the side, tears streaming down her cheeks. She could feel the hard, unyielding muscles of his chest against her own, the rough scrape of his stubble against her neck.

“Please…” she whispered again, her voice barely audible over the crackling of the fire. “Don’t do this…” The Beast’s response was another low, guttural sound, a mix of satisfaction and anticipation. He shifted, his weight settling more firmly against her. Alex’s body tensed, her mind racing, searching for some way to escape, some way to fight back. But there was no escape, no fighting back. The bindings held her fast, the Beast’s strength far surpassing her own. She was trapped, helpless under his dominance.

His hands moved to her thighs, spreading them apart with a rough insistence. Alex whimpered, her body trembling with fear and revulsion. The Beast positioned himself between her legs, his breath hot against her skin. Alex’s world narrowed to the sensations assaulting her body: the roughness of his touch, the heat of his breath, the unyielding pressure of his weight. She closed her eyes, trying to dissociate, to detach herself from the reality of what was happening. But there was no escaping this reality. The Beast’s movements were deliberate, his intent unmistakable. He gripped her hips, pulling her closer as he positioned himself. Alex’s breath hitched, her heart pounding in her chest.

With a single, brutal thrust, he entered her. Alex’s scream echoed off the stone walls, a raw, anguished sound that cut through the stillness of the cabin. Pain lanced through her body, sharp and all-consuming. She tried to pull away, to escape the torment, but the bindings held her fast. The Beast’s growl was a low, primal sound, filled with a dark satisfaction. He moved within her, each thrust a reminder of her helplessness, her powerlessness. Alex’s world became a haze of pain and despair, each movement a fresh wave of agony.

Time lost meaning as the Beast continued his domination of her. Alex’s screams turned to sobs, her body wracked with pain and exhaustion. She could feel the Beast’s breath against her neck, his growls and grunts a constant reminder of his presence. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the Beast shuddered, his movements growing erratic. With a final, forceful thrust, he climaxed, a low, guttural sound escaping his lips as she felt the pulsing of him inside her. He collapsed against her, his weight pinning her to the bed.

For a moment, there was silence, broken only by the crackling of the fire and Alex’s ragged breaths. The Beast lay still, his breath hot against her skin. Then, with a satisfied grunt, he pushed himself up, his weight lifting off her. Alex lay still, her body trembling with pain and exhaustion. The Beast removed the additional shackles from her wrist and ankles, but she didn’t move. She couldn’t move. She lay there, her mind numb, her body aching.

The Beast stood, his dark eyes lingering on her for a moment before he turned away. He dressed in silence, his movements deliberate and unhurried. Alex watched through a haze of tears as he left the cabin, the door closing behind him with a final, echoing thud.

She was alone. The fire crackled in the hearth, the only sound in the oppressive silence. Alex curled into a ball, wrapping the tattered remains of the sheets around her. She sobbed, her body wracked with pain and sorrow, the memory of the Beast’s assault etched into her very soul. The storm raged outside, the wind howling through the trees. Inside the cabin, Alex lay in the darkness, her tears soaking into the satin sheets. The fire burned low, casting flickering shadows across the stone walls.

She was alone, but the memory of the Beast lingered, a haunting reminder of her ordeal. And in the silence of the cabin, Alex wept, her cries a poignant echo of her shattered spirit.
